As it turns out:

I’m not dead.

I know, right?

God I missed tumblr. I forgot how amazing it is.

Let’s see, I should probably post an obligatory update on the happenings since last May. Oh geez, what hasn’t happened?
· I went to Hawaii and got married. It was exactly as dreamy and gorgeous as that sounds. Despite the fact that I would never want to live in the US, I would totally move to Hawaii. If only it was in Canada (le sigh).
· I lost my cat.
· I stopped running so I could get fat. Actually I stopped because I had been having issues with fainting after longer runs, and my doctor is still sending me for tests. So I am taking it easy until I find out if running could literally kill me or not.
· I got a new phone, with wind mobile. In Canada we have the worst cellphone plans and only recently were independent companies even allowed into the market. I had been paying through my fucking nose for shit service on a shit phone before now, because there was no other option. Now, my bill is the same as before, but I have unlimited EVERYTHING, on a wicked ass Android smartphone. I LOVE WIND.
· I have been utterly unable to make any progress in the job hunt area. I have had precisely one interview (for my dream job), but was their second choice. They told me they had left the job posting up for ten days, and gotten over two hundred applications, many from PhDs and other way overqualified individuals. So, I am competing against effing doctors, which explains why I don’t get called back. So frustrating. I feel like I cannot move forward in life without switching jobs. I can’t move closer to my family, I can’t have kids, until I get a new job. If only I didn’t need money.
· I might get my braces off in just under two weeks. It might also be two more months. But I hope it’s weeks, because I am so mother loving sick of having extra things in my mouth.
